- 3–4 lbs chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 5–6 whole pepperoncini peppers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your slow cooker.
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Add the whole pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
- Slice the unsalted butter and place it on top of the roast and peppers.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides.
Notes
For thicker gravy, whisk together cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last hour of cooking.
